There will be OMANYE ABA SPECIAL show on this Sunday  the 30th of August 2009 from 10am till 13pm GMT, 11am till 14am European time. To mark the beginning of this year’s Teshie Kpashimo festivity, Omanye Aba will be broadcasted live from Teshie, visiting all the 8 flag quarters or groups of the town for a special interview.

 All the flag bearers and some of the paramount elders in Teshie will be interviewed to tell us how significant the Homowo festival and especially “Kpashimo” is to the people of Teshie. Each flag quarter or group will perform some of their best new “Kpashimo” songs live on air.

Kpashimo tradition demands that each year a champion or winner from the 8 Kpashimo groups is crowned with a cup presented at the end of the festival. The interview will give us a firsthand idea who will win this year’s Kpashimo cup to be presented by Hon. Nii Nortey Dua MP for Ledzokuku at end of the festival. Omanye Aba will also be at Teshie  on Saturday the 12th of September 2009 to cover  SESEBUMO which  marks  the end of  Ga Homowo festival. “WATCH OUT” YOU WILL HAVE YOURSELF TO BE BLAMED IF YOU MISS THIS PROGRAMME especially our brothers and sisters from Teshie.
