Nii Adotey Tetor on "Omanye Aba"
His name and songs are on the lips of every child in Accra due to the lyrics of his songs. Nii Adotey Tetor a young talented Gadangme musician from Mamprobi has emerged as one of the outstanding Gadangme music performers after Wulomei. His music, a blend of Gadangme traditional music and reggae, and lyrics reflecting the biblical Gospel is played on the airwaves, at every home performing Gadangme traditional or nontraditional function and even at some churches .
He says he has several Gadangme musical albums to his credit but he is still as poor as the church mouse due to the fact that people do not patronise Gadangme music. He wonders why Gadangme songs are never played at our National functions (i.e. galas etc) that comes on in the Greater Accra Region.
Dan Sowah will interview him as usual on his "Omanye Aba" show this Saturday the 24th of October 2009 to find out more about him, his music, project etc. and Gadangme music en bloc. Only his music will be played during the show.
