lennox3If you happen to be attentive to the gospel circuit in Paris, then the name Pastor Lennox would definitely sound familiar. You remember ‘Crazy for Jesus?’ Well the maestro is back!!!
Christian Minister, song stylist, composer and ingenious piano wunderkind Pastor T. Lennox is set to drop a new album ‘Tu m’aimes encore’ on Saturday November 26, in Paris. It’s an event that will headline a list of distinguished and outstanding artistes from the gospel landscape in France.

Aptly named, this refreshing album is filled with summery, bright tunes that create beautiful and profound lyrical transparency wrapped in the sounds of musical excellence.
It showcases a familiar sound, one you could easily pick out of a radio lineup. In fact, Pastor Lennox’s optimism and faith shine right through, making this new album one you’ll want to add to your collection.

As the piano keys twinkle, thunder rolls, drum makes staccato beats, blending into beautiful melodies, you sense you’re about to embark on a reverential symphonious journey on a ‘Praise Cruise”. Immediately you get ushered into this praise party of sorts consisting of two guests of honor: ‘Rhythm and Worship’.

Right out the gate and without resistance, a humble and affable man with a ‘1 Corinthians 13’ disposition and an engrained artistic gift in song ministration, emerges into view with a remarkable testament. ‘Tum’aimes encore’ his musical Renaissance. Without question, this album releases the sound of a man that emanates the maturity of “life experience” with God. Written from his own personal trials, Pastor Lennox sings of finding hope in Christ and a life dedicated to God. Trials will come, but songs such as the title track remind us that God is faithful and our hope can be found in Him.

The entire album is a completed work. With words and music that focus on seeking God’s truth through prayer and growing in faith, Pastor T. Lennox’s album is in itself a work of the Holy Spirit that represents his strength as a minister and composer. In a musical setting that is familiar to fans of gospel music, Pastor Lennox’s music reflects a uniquely ethnic approach to gospel songs, with an expanded sound that combines smooth melodies, reminiscent of the songs of our local churches. However, as a dynamic preacher and musician, he does not confine himself to a single genre but rather flexible with different styles, although reggae tempos tend to be his favorite style. For him, what matters most is the message and not the genre and according to Pastor Lennox the motivation for doing this album is out of obedience to the direction that God is taking his ministry.

Here’s my personal take in reviewing this album:
“Profound singalong anthem tracks resonate nearly back to back with a lyrical insight that only comes from enduring trials walking out ones faith in Christ over time. The CD’s self-titled track “Tu m’aimes encore” brings a hopeful bold rhythmic anthem that is catchy and profound. This joyful anthem illuminates the painful transition from the old in life to the beauty of God’s new beginnings. You’ll find yourself nodding your head to this one while singing its revelatory hopeful hooks. “M’aimes encore”, an upbeat poly rhythmic tune that takes you on a lyrical journey exploring the truth of discovering hope and encouragement in following the path “less taken”.While the lyrics reflect higher inspirations and aspirations, the music stays simple and sweet, with piano, soulful backing vocals and plenty of harmony.
It doesn’t matter where you are in life at this time, there is a song to speak to your situation. I want to encourage you to connect with this event. It will help improve your walk with Jesus. Why…because He is Marvelous”.

So far projections appear great and promising for the launch on Saturday November 26.There is a good buzz on the new album, which has lots of previews on YouTube, Sound Cloud, iTunes, and his Facebook page. It’simply overwhelming.
It’s worth savoring the music of this multi-talented maestro in a live performance of this new album, which includes songs that will leave you with a very profound sense of spiritual awareness. This new album is a unique blend of Christian and African gospel music, laced with dynamic harmonies, well-arranged and magnificently interpreted.
I can tell you a masterful presentation of eclectic songs, sublime and refreshingly resplendent is worth investing your Saturday afternoon in…. at La Briche…. It will be Electric…. full of FIRE; You just wouldn’t want to miss this. More Fire!!!!
